Helping Santa to help others...

Each year the five Rotary Clubs of Coventry and The Rotaract Club of Coventry get together with volunteers to help Santa collect money for two main Charities and for the Rotary Charities. The two main charities for 2020 are Coventry Myton Hospice & The Air Ambulance Service.
In 1979 the Bishop of Coventry set up a committee to discuss the possibility of opening a hospice for people in need of special care in the Warwickshire and Coventry areas. An appeal for money was launched. Funding came from many sources, as it does now, including Rotarians, Lions, Round Tables, and various other charitable organisations and many individuals.
The Air Ambulance Service is a fantastic lifesaving organisation with an incredible team of hard working people behind it. We're continually striving to develop our services so that we can continue to save lives and alleviate sickness wherever and whenever possible.
We can make a living by what we get; but we can make a life by what we give Winston Churchill
We are 1.2 million neighbours, friends, and community leaders who come together to create positive, lasting change in our communities and around the world. Our differing occupations, cultures, and countries give us a unique perspective. Our shared passion for service helps us accomplish the remarkable.
